Although electrolysis is the only known permanent method of hair removal, it is not an overnight miracle process. Every individual hair will require a series of treatments in order to eliminate the potential germinating cells.
- Only presently growing hair can be removed.
- Each hair follicle undergoes numerous hair growth cycles. There are 300 – 500 hair follicles per square inch. Most of these hair follicles are not active at the same time.
- The length and number of treatments vary for each person, depending on the extent of the problem, the causes, and the type of hair.
